Convenient Location & Good Amenities, But Pest Problems & Difficult Landlord

I stayed here for 6 months on military orders. The location is great10 minutes to the airport, River Walk, and Fort Sam. The unit is a converted garage with a good kitchen, washer/dryer, and amazing shower. However, the oversized furniture made the space cramped. I rearranged it to make it livable, but the landlord was upset, despite no lease rule against moving furniture. This led to tense interactions and constant reminders to return things to their original layout. I also dealt with two fly infestations, likely due to overflowing garbage bins they maintained improperly. The landlord said Id get my full deposit back if I left a positive review, which felt coercive. They later tried to withhold part of it over floor scratches, despite no warnings about the flooring type. I eventually got the full deposit back after a stressful back-and-forth. The unit has some positives, but the pest issues and poor communication made for a disappointing stay. I wouldnt rent again.

Great Stay

This is a great place to stay and was perfect for my needs. It was clean, nice, well furnished, and in a great location for my commute to the medical district. My wife and 3 month old felt right at home when they came to visit. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a well-furnished studio.

Property owner was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Place was very nice and clean. No problems at all during my stay. Location was the best part. Easily accessible to anywhere in San Antonio.

Excellent Property and Landlord

I stayed at this property for 2 months. The property is clean, lovely, and quiet with lovely furnishings that made my stay very comfortable. D was a perfect landlord and never bothered me while remaining easy to contact as needed. I highly recommend this property for anyone looked for a furnished one bedroom.
