Cozy, Private Unit in Seattle neighborhood close to lightrail, minutes from major hospitals

Cozy Unit

This ADU has everything you need for a short-term rental. It's private, feels safe, and very cozy. The location is great, and it is close to the link rail. There isn't designated parking, but the spot directly in front of the house was almost always open. As noted, the ceilings are low so this unit may not be suitable for tall individuals. I was able to tour the home prior to moving in, and the space resembled the images. Not shown in the photos are about 6-7 steps leading down into the unit as it is in the basement. There is no A/C in this part of the house, but a portable A/C was provided for us upon request. It was strong enough to cool the entire space. The family whose property this unit belongs to are so lovely. They were very accomdating to our needs and fulfilled many of our requests. I have pets, and they were able to watch over them several times while I was out of town. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend staying in this unit.

Loved the place and landlords

Wow! I loved the place, cute little basement apartment, and a great backyard for my dog to run around and get her zoomies out. The basement apartment was nice and cool during heat waves, had a heater for cold times too). No issues with noises from upstairs (I was more worried about my dog being too loud if anything) I just cant say enough good things about A and her husband. If I had any issues they were addressed right away. They were there if I had questions, could point me to restaurants and things to do if I asked, but left me to my privacy. Ive been doing traveling for a couple years, best landlords by far.

Felt like home away from home!

I absolutely loved my stay here! I have stayed a few places now and this one was easily the nicest. The unit was so spacious and although it is a basement unit, its completely private and feels that way. They had a nice backyard that my dog loved as well. Not to mention, A and her husband were the most amazing hosts and loved my dog as well. Her or her husband were there right away any time an issue arose. But otherwise, they allowed me my privacy! Very little noise was heard from upstairs during my stay, so that was great! I can honestly say I have made a lifelong friendship with A and would highly recommend this unit to any and everyone! :)
