My husband and I are both medical professionals and have three children who are now out on their own and are also medical professionals. Our family created and have run and supported a medical clinic for over 20 years in Peru's eastern jungle. At first we bought a boat and did clinics on a major river system out to the isolated villages where Spanish is not spoken. Now the clinic is land-based. We have recently retired and are hoping to use funds from rentals to help support outreach projects, both in the US and around the world.
