The best place in Albany

I had the please to stay at this property and I have no regrets. The place is clean and so close to the hospital. The owner is always a phone call away. And we have a cleaning lady that comes every Saturday to clean. I can’t say enough.

Not a good place

This landlord constantly changes the price of this place and keeps your security deposit when moving out, citing untrue reasons to keep your deposit. The place is also very filthy with gross stains in the bathroom. The landlord does not tell you when new people are moving in. She takes sides with abusive room mates who made me move out early when I was still paying rent there. The landlord was harsh and unaccommodating when bringing up these issues and trying to get my security deposit back for the time I didn't spend there. Many other renters have been driven away by abusive roommates here as well. Look elsewhere, don't stay at this place that purposely abuses hardworking healthcare professionals.

I highly recommend this place to all professionals especially travel nurses. It is a very safe, clean, organized and quiet environment. This place is ideal for travel nurses because of its proximity to the hospital. Its a walking distance 4 minutes to the hospital and the house is in a great location. This place was my favorite place to live in all my four years of doing travel nurse. The owner Manjano, was very kind, professional and truly cares about the tenants.. She is always available to answer your questions and needs. She is incredibly responsible- repairs are handed within 24 hours, often faster. I lived here for over 6 months and loved it .The property is well maintained and communication is always professional and clear. Any time i signed a new contact with Albany Medical center, I will surely get in contact with Manjano property. Thank You Manjano for your hospitality and professionalism during my stay in your place.

Beware

Renters beware. This landlord locks people into a 12 month-style lease with clauses that keep your security deposit when this is intended for a short term rental. Takes all payment through Zelle which is not good-- you're not supposed to be dealing with any business using Zelle. Not cooperative when negotiating sudden job contract terminations. Uses the excuse of paying lawyers and other 3rd party contractors to draft the lease, saying that she will charge us money at every turn, whether it is to extend a contract or get out of a contract due to loss of job/income. Wrongly states she has other people as part of the business when in fact she is the sole operator of entire business in order to scare people into not fighting for their security deposit back.

Wonderful stay

I highly recommend this place to all professionals. It’s was a walking distance going to Albany Med and the place was safe and near restaurants, grocery store, cvs and the park. Majory the house manager was very responsive and made sure the house maintenance and cleanliness are provided on a timely manner. Everything is organized and spotless. Never had any issue with delivered packages. I will surely go back and stay here again because of the wonderful experience and accommodations.

I stayed here for 3 months and this was a nice, easy, very accessible place for me cos i worked in Albany med which is literally a stone throw away. Landlord was pretty responsive to any of my concerns, very easy to talk to. No problems at all. Travel nurses, this is the perfect place for you. Safe neighbourhood. Market for shopping is near. Lots of park for girlies who likes walking/running. Interesting shops nearby to hang out and decompress. Near public transport as well. I felt safe and comfortable on my stay here, so if youre looking for a nice play to stay, this is it

I was very comfortable at this house. The house was clean, Quiet and the kitchen with coffee maker, pots,dishes, intensil, ect. They landlord was wonderful always available and address my needs.
