Smaller then it looks

Hosts were very kind but the pictures make this look like an apartment. Its a laundry room converted.. very very small. If you work nights like me good luck sleeping in the day. They have kids, dogs and construction being done literally outside the door.. brutal. The Wi-Fi is not good and the parking is nonexistent. Also had dog poop outside my door and The fridge was a mini with no freezer.. for some it might work but not for me. Its been a few weeks and I have yet to receive my deposit back. Im sure after this review they wont. So beware..

Our listing has always been advertised as a private guest suite attached to our home not a standalone apartment and we make every effort to accurately depict the layout, size, kitchenette setup, and amenities through the photos and description. Many of our midterm guests, including traveling professionals, have enjoyed the cozy setup and convenient location, though we understand it may not be the right fit for everyones preferences or work schedule. During your stay, we were never made aware of concerns regarding noise, parking, or any other issues despite having several friendly conversations in person. Had we known, we would have gladly tried to address any issues immediately. As a family home in Austin, there can occasionally be normal daytime activity, particularly during summer months when the kids were home from school. As for the construction, our neighbors were installing a pool, which we were unaware of at the time of listing or lease-signing, and was certainly outside of our control. They only worked during appropriate hours of the day, but, again, that is understandably inconvenient for night-shift workers. We were not aware this was the case for you before signing. Regarding the security deposit, it was not withheld because of this review - we actually only saw this review years later after listing this property here again. After the stay ended early, the suite required extensive additional cleaning and replacement of damaged items beyond normal wear and tear. An itemized explanation was sent to you dated prior to this review, though we did not receive a response. We always encourage prospective guests to carefully review the listing details and photos to ensure the space is the right fit for their needs.
