Good Unit, But Privacy and Deposit Issues

The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Credit to Jeff for keeping the property in good condition. It has good natural light and a well-equipped kitchen. Potential renters should be aware that the owners closely monitor the property. During our stay, there were occasions when they entered the unit while we were away and adjusted things such as windows and temperature settings. As a result, we felt we had less privacy than expected. We also had a disappointing experience regarding our security deposit. We paid a cleaning fee, thoroughly cleaned the unit before leaving, and washed linens, towels, dishes, and vacuumed prior to move-out. Despite this, our deposit was withheld for issues that we believed were either minor or pre-existing. Overall, the unit itself was pleasant, but the lack of privacy and the deposit dispute left us with a negative final impression.
