We will miss this place!
Had to relocate to Alaska for a year having never so much as visited before. Working with Wally on staying here set all of our worries aside! The place is as nice as it looks in the pictures. No surprises. Beautiful and quiet area. The apartment is spacious and clean inside. Just a few minutes away from everything you could need. We will miss this place!

Sweet light Alaska apartment
Great property, great location, great people. An upstairs, over the garage, 1 bedroom apartment in the south end of Anchorage (My favorite part of anchorage). The bedroom is large and comfortable with plenty of closet space. The great room (Living, Kitchen and dinette area) are perfect size for two. Full size kitchen with a comfortable set up. There is an outside deck with BBQ. Bathroom is roomy and comfortable. The hosts are former med travelers and very easy to get along with. From my point of view no downsides with this place. But be aware, there are a flight of stairs both on the deck and the main entrance in case this is an issue for you. I hope to stay here again.

The BEST place to stay in Anchorage, Alaska!
I had the opportunity to stay here during my travel contract at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska and it was simply the best experience! Wally and his family are so, so kind and made us feel like close friends/ family the moment my fianc and I got to Alaska. The property is absolutely beautiful, exactly as pictured! It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood nearby the start of the Seward Scenic Highway, Potter Marsh and a quick 15-20 minute ride into town if you are working at Providence or AMNC. The area is quiet especially if you are working night shift with plenty of space for parking. You will often see moose in your backyard which was such a neat experience. Do not hesitate to book this rental if you are coming to Alaska as a healthcare professional, it is truly a gem! I fell in love with Alaska during my time there and hope to return in the future and stay here again during my future travels.
