Awesome Long Term Stay

My friend and I stayed here for both the fall and spring semesters, and we had a great experience. The host was super chill, understanding, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The place was comfortable, and we never felt stressed about normal noise or late night studying. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place to other students or anyone looking for a relaxed and welcoming stay.

Home away from Home

I absolutely loved my stay. Everything was nice, clean, and peaceful. I had everything I need as far as necessities. Any issues(I caused) she assisted me right away. The owner was loving, caring, and trustworthy. She checked on me regularly. When I went out of town I left her my keys to my car. When I was sick she cared for me. I tried to get another job in this area just to stay at her place. It was definitely home away from home.

Not bad overall

Initially things were great at this property. The room was clean, laundry in the basement and off street parking. I worked nights and everyone else in the house worked days so I was able to get some restful sleep. But towards the end of my time there I noticed that someone was smoking cigarettes and weed but I never knew who was doing this. When I used the kitchen I always cleaned up after I was done. Other tenets did not. Very frustrating to wake up and decide to cook some breakfast only to see a sink full of dirty dishes. If you are sharing space please be respectful and considerate of other tenets. Other than that it was a good value for me.

Comfortable and quiet

I returned to this property for a second travel nurse contract and have enjoyed my time staying here. My landlords are great, easily accessible and they address issues as they arise. The apartment is clean, the other short term tenant is quiet and respectful.

Misleading

Ive been a travel RN for 2 years now and never had issues like I did at this rental. Be warned, the long term tenant is rude and increasingly inappropriate. She made me very uncomfortable for the month I was here to the point that I had to seek alternative housing. It starts small like telling you where to park and which door/entry point you are to use but then she came into the bathroom with her child while I was in the shower. Not only that but began insulting me. When I told the homeowner I could no longer stay she refused to return the rent money for the month I had just paid her for. She got 2 months rent from me for 1 full month and 4 days. Non smoking is a lie, someone is smoking weed and cigarettes inside. Long term tenant also babysits children during the day so no sleep for night shift. Sink is constantly full of dirty dishes, if I could post photos I would. I was VERY let down by how things were handled and I just hope I can give a heads up to any prospective renters.
