PERFECT STAY We stayed here for 7 months and have nothing but good words for this place! The unit is nestled in the redwoods with your own private balcony. The space was perfect for two people with a huge closet and outdoor storage space. The kitchen was stocked with all appliances needed. Not to mention there are hiking trails accessible from the property itself. The McReynolds were amazing hosts and always made sure we had everything we needed. This truly felt like our home away from home, we definitely recommend staying here!

Felt like home

Property was a forest oasis with a deck view looking out into the woods, but a 10-15 min drive to the beach or nearby state parks. The McReynolds were accommodating, friendly, and treated us like we were family. I particularly liked the fresh forest scent and watching wildlife. We would love to book this property again and highly recommend it!

Peaceful stay in the redwoods

We loved our stay in the Owls Nest! The M were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The place is fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances you could need, plenty of closet space, and a great living space. The location is also perfect, we loved watching wildlife from the private back porch and hearing the owls at night. We were very sad when it came time to leave, and would definitely recommend staying here!

A slice of heaven

I was looking for peace and quiet here and found it! This little home is nestled in the redwood forest. I truly loved living here! Everything in the house is brand new and state of the art. The McReynolds have put in a lot of thought and care in turning this little cottage into a peaceful retreat. Its very common to see deer and wild turkeys roaming throughout the area. The great thing is that even though the house feels remote, its actually 15minutes away from the city! The place comes with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and is fully furnished.
