One month stay in Las Vegas

We rented the month of December +1 day. We arrived on 12/1; the house was not ready. There was an issue with the cleaning, we had to get a hotel our 1st night. In communicating with the landlord, Hasan, we were told we would receive credit for that 1st night. We had a text from Hasan on 12/2, since he has not returned messages or phone calls. I had 24 messages in Furnished Finder and texts, and 14 calls, all unanswered. The house was left in great condition with items left (shower curtain, rod, cleaning supplies, etc.) that we had to purchase since they were missing when we arrived. The experience with the Hasan was frustrating. It's sad that this type of situation can have such a negative impact on a trip. After 14 days, I had to message and call Hasan repeatedly to ask about our refund and security deposit. His only reply was 4 days later that he had just sent our security deposit (20 days after we left), which was $45 short. We have never received our credit for the 1st night.
