As a person who travels for work, having a comfortable, safe, and clean place to stay is extremely important, and this home in the Weequahic area of Newark exceeded all my expectations. The house is absolutely beautiful, very well maintained, and spotless. I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay, which made a long work assignment so much more manageable. Elaine was amazingresponsive, kind, and truly thoughtful. Everything I needed was provided, and any questions I had were answered quickly. The neighborhood was quiet, and the home felt like a true retreat after long shifts. I would highly recommend this rental to other travel professionals or anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great Stay

I had a good stay at this house! Elaine is very quick with getting back to you. When there are 2 different apartments within the house, one containing 6 people, and the other containing 3. When I first arrived I was staying in one of the queen rooms, and after a month a master came available. I informed Elaine that I would like to move down to the smaller apartment and it was an easy transition! My roomate had a dog and she was perfect! No issues with my roommates or Elaine! The neighborhood can have some sirens, however we are only a couple blocks away from one of the major hospital so it makes sense. I had no issues walking to / from my car whether it be day or night. Parking could be a little tricky as there is only street parking, I simply parked on the conjoined street. No issues! :)

Stressful Living Conditions, Not So Pet Friendly, Unsafe Area

I had a very disappointing experience living here. The landlord was unreasonable and argumentative about my small dog, despite it being a pet-friendly rental and paying pet and cleaning fees. She repeatedly called and texted me over minor issues like pet hair, making the situation stressful and uncomfortable. Communication felt aggressive rather than professional. HVAC also a huge issue!!! The neighborhood was also rough - there was trash all over the streets, constant sirens at all hours of the night, and paper-thin walls where you could hear everything inside the house and outside on the street. I had to call 911 one time because of a domestic dispute happening right outside. Loud arguments and disturbances in the street were a regular occurrence. The only positives were proximity to the hospital and meeting nice housemates. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would not recommend renting here if you have pets or value respectful landlord-tenant interactions.

AMAZING

This property was amazing ! The owner was super nice and friendly and worked with my request especially as a travel nurse. Close to a lot of the hospitals near by ! The house was kept up super nice and clean ! I had no issues when it came to anything. She helped me with moving in and out. I would definitely return back to this property when Im back in NJ. Such a great experience as a travel nurse. I also love the utilities such as a washer and dryer which was super convenient. This location is also close to a lot of public transportation which is awesome if you want to go to New York City ! Love loved loveee this property honestly felt like home.

Great place to stay

I really like staying at this property. It was extremely close to Beth Israel hospital. I actually just ubered everyday. The house was very clean and quiet. I did stay upstairs in the corner room which is great for a nightshifter.

Elaine was responsive, respectful, and accomodating. My roommates were friendly and everyone cleaned after themselves. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing Stay!!

I stayed at this property for three months and enjoyed my stay. The house is very spacious and didn't feel like multiple people were staying there. Also, the landlord is amazing, very responsive and truly takes care of her tents. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed here for my first 3 month contract in Jersey. I stayed in the master bedroom with private bath. The stay was fantastic! The landlord was very nice, welcoming, and responsive. The house was modern, clean, and spacious. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone considering.

Great stay: very clean, quiet, spacious, and amazing host

Stayed at this property for close to 3 months and enjoyed every bit of it. The property is extremely spacious. There are dishes and pans for cooking. Air conditioning works great. Its quiet all the time which is great for a good nights sleep. The cleaning person comes regularly so the house is always clean as well. Lastly the owner is great, very nice and accommodating, and responds timely to requests. Overall a great stay!

Super Amazing

Amazing and clean property, cannot say enough about how awesome the landlord has been, she always is quick to reply and communicates really well. The property is super clean and very well taken care of. Hands down the best landlord I have ever had....I give this residence and the landlord a 10/10!!! Cannot recommend enough!!!

E is a nice host and very responsive. She was accommodating throughout my stay and the property is well kept. My roommates were also great! My stay was a lot better at Es property compared to other properties I stayed at throughout my assignment. Home away from Home

A M A Z I N G! As a first time travel nurse Es property offered me a comforting home away from home with a nice vacation twist. With the airport less than a 10 minute commute as well as 5 minute commute to any major high way, her property offered me a gem location to getting around. Inside of the unit is a comforting living room than me and my roommate enjoyed frequently. The kitchen offered tons of pantry space as well as countertops for specialty appliances from home. E was such an amazing host! She reassured that my move in and out experience was seamless & that any questions I ever had she would have an answer! Very reasonable and reliable for any concerns you may have! 10/10 definitely recommended

Property Review

Mrs. E is an EXCELLENT host. When I stayed on the property, she was always quick to respond and made sure we were comfortable. She always made sure we wanted for nothing, and made us feel at home. During the holidays, she cooked for all the tenants and celebrated with us, as she knew we were away from family. Regarding the property, everything is well kept and maintained. Property located 4 mins via car and 13 minute walk from Newark Beth Israel. I would most definitely recommend this location to ANYONE, and would return if I were to visit New Jersey again.

I lived at this property for 3 months while in Newark,NJ on a travel nurse assignment. The property is great. The house is clean and my room was spacious and nice. The property manager was excellent. She responded to all my questions in a timely manner, Highly very easy to talk to, accommodating, & even was nice enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner for the house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a safe, clean, spacious property that feels like a home away from home. Highly Recommend. I stayed in this property while taking a travel assignment as a nurse! This location was extremely close to the hospital. The entire house was beautiful and clean. My room was very spacious. The landlord was extremely accommodating to every individual in the home. She was responsive to all my questions quickly. She was even nice enough to cook us food for the holidays. The house is modern and someone comes and cleans all the common areas regularly. I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay during my time in New Jersey! Highly recommend!

The Best First Furnished Finder Experience You Can Ask For

My first rotation in my 3rd year of med school was approaching. I felt thrown into a rotation and knew no one from New Jersey. After some trouble finding housing, this property came up on my search. When I tell you, it was everything I needed for my first start and first time on Furnished Finder I mean it. The property owner created a tailored experience for us answering whatever questions we had, sending whatever community items we needed, and ensured we had the most comfortable experience possible. The house was perfectly fitted for individuals to feel secure and comfortable. If I were to try to find a negative aspect to the experience to share, you might be waiting for a while. Loved staying here

I stayed at this property while on assignment at a nearby hospital. It was a 7 minute walk to work, never had any issues walking to and from work. The house is immaculate! Clean throughout, very upated and comfortable. The other medical professionals in the house were all friendly and amazing people. The owner is available for any needs or requests and is super responsive. I didn't want to leave. It was a great living and work experience. Highly recommend.

First off E is amazing! She is very responsive and accommodating! I traveled here from Chicago with my dog. The room was amazing! The decor is top tier! The house gives you home away from home vibes. The home is very clean, it has everything you need to make your stay convenient washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The backyard is gorgeous! There is a basketball rim, grill, and seating area! My favorite part was my roommates! Everyone was so cool! Literally became a mini extended family! Dont hesitate to book E makes you comfortable, the house is comfortable, and the individuals in the house are very welcoming! You are definitely getting your moneys worth! Also its located in a very convenient location! Close to New York for those that love to explore!

My wife and I stayed here for about 2 months and couldnt have asked for a better experience. E was very kind, accommodating and overall a genuinely good person to interact with. Wonderful Home away from Home

This was my first time on the east coast and my first time being so far from home. E was beyond accommodating and truly the most wonderful host, which made my transition much easier. The house itself is beautiful and kept very clean/organized. Whenever tenants suggested additional kitchen appliances and things for bedrooms/bathrooms (mirrors, shelves, etc.), E was responsive and got them for us ASAP. I adore this place and would easily choose to book it again if I ever end up back in Newark!

This was my first time, leaving from home to travel. But I must say, in this place definitely gave me a sense of comfort! Met and made some great friends and memories thru this experience and would absolutely do it again! E is my girl! She was super sweet and also available to you! summer stay in Newark

This was such a great find! E was a wonderful property owner and was very responsive to all my questions. She even showed me how the best ways to walk to work and made sure I felt taken care during my time in Newark. The house itself was very safe as well with cameras outside and a code for the door. She also provides a key for your room so you know your belongings will be safe no matter what hours youre gone for. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and shared bathroom were always clean! E has thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and at home. During my stay there she also got patio furniture and a grill for out back, perfect for the summer! I was sad to leave and would definitely stay there again or recommend the property to friends.

Not bad

It was a nice duplex to stay in. Although considering the area, I was skeptical but it actually wasnt bad. It was quiet and no one bothers you. The only down fall would be the parking. Other than that the home was nice, quiet, and other people in the home were respectful of privacy and quietness considering we all do the same thing. If I were to get another contract in Jersey, I would consider this place again.

This home is absolutely beautiful. E, the host is kind and always available. She makes every effort to ensure her guests feel safe and comfortable. She also ensures that the clean at all times. This home is in a great location: 11 minutes from Newark airport, 15 minutes away from Whole Foods and Target. I really loved and enjoyed my stay. If youre looking for a place to retreat from work or relax on your off days; look no further. You wont be disappointed.

be careful, non refundable!

Be careful traveling nurses. Was told that the $750 deposit for the room was non refundable when I asked about extenuating circumstances like my contract being cancelled. I was told they would work with me. Well this was the first contract Ive had that cancelled and they in fact did not work with me. Did not refund any of the deposit and stopped reply to text and emails.

A Beatiful and Quiet Place to Leave and Study

I lived on E's property for two months with a unique experience. I felt safe and comfortable. It is a clean, calm, and quiet place to live and study. E. is an excellent landlord, kind, accommodating, and treated us like family. This property is near Weequahic Park, Newark Airport, a station for local buses, and bus #107 that reaches the Port Authority Terminal at Midtown, Manhattan, in about 35 minutes, The neighborhood is nice and pet friendly. I do highly recommend this place.

Amazing place and host!

I stayed at this property for four weeks. This is a beautiful place located in a good quiet neighborhood, although it is easier to drive around, the bus stop is about a 3 minute walk. There is a bus that directly that goes to Manhattan which stops at that bus stop. E is a wonderful host, she was always available and she was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend this place!
