Our quiet mountain home had 2 bedrooms with comfortable king beds and closets. Each bedroom has access to their own bathroom. Full size kitchen with Bosch gas oven, farmhouse sink , dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Open concept living/dining rooms. Leather sofa and chair. Lovely deck with fire pit (you supply propane after initial tank is empty) and fantastic view.

Best experience of our lives
If I could give 10 stars, I would have. Woodland Retreat was a perfect summer mountain cottage. Patty was an exceptional host. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Nice high quality towels. Mornings under my blankie drinking coffee on the deck started each day were indescribable. We saw all kinds of mountain birds, hummingbirds, chipmunks, squirrels, bunnies, wild turkeys, and a beaver. Patty checked in with us throughout our stay. Having the washer and dryer was most convenient. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are buying a house in Maggie Valley and moving from Houston.
