Warning

The worst experience ever. First, you have to be completely invisible, because THE SON IS SLEEPING IN THE BASEMENT, seems like 24/7. I worked 12 hours overnight, but still was scolded for quick morning shower and cup of coffee before my shift. You can not use the kitchen ever, because THE SON IS SLEEPING IN THE BASEMENT! Be ready for your personal stuff to be moved, misplaced and disappeared. And don't make a mistake leaving a few items behind, you will never get them back. I was threatened being arrested if I show up at the property, but when I did, WITH THE COPS, still got nothing. Good luck, don't tell me I didn't warn you. And other three reviews above, thank you, I totally agree with you.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I am a traveling nurse, and renting from this landlord was by far the worst housing experience Ive had. Not only was the place poorly maintained and not as advertised, but the landlord himself has no sense of professionalism. He does not know how to talk to people respectfully and often comes across as rude, dismissive, and condescending. Instead of handling concerns in a constructive way, he talks down to tenants and makes you feel like a burden for simply asking for what should already be provided. As someone who works long hours in healthcare, the last thing I needed was additional stress from a landlord who doesnt know how to treat tenants with basic decency. If you value respect, clear communication, and a professional rental experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Rude and disrespectful

This renter is very unprofessional and very rude! Also cursed me out and I have messages to prove it! I was supposed to be renting a room for him him and he texted me 2 days before I leave that the room is not available! Then when I sent him a text and told him I understand but he could have told me a little sooner because now I'm on my way to Rutland with no where to stay! And then he told I always a very confused individual and I didn't deserve to be in my field all because I called him out on his wrong doing! He's just simply disrespectful! And he also talks about his other tenants behind their back!

Be careful with this one

Very nice area. Beautiful mountain views. This home is pretty decent. The owner, however, was seemingly nice, at first. Then, I had some important mail delivered. He opened my mail, (which is a federal offense) taped it back up in such a messy manner, circled my name and wrote "Does Not Exist", return to sender. (I took pictures just in case I need to press charges) Now, granted, he said that it was in the lease that no mail was to be delivered at the address. Understandable. But, at the same time, the decent thing would have been to leave my mail for me to find and remind me about what the lease stated. He gossips LOUDLY with his clients, is a bit neurotic and too old fashioned when it comes to accepting newer forms of payment. A former tenant even mentioned this owner took unsolicited photos of them. Very creepy. If renting from this owner, just stay in your space and he'll stay in his. Tread lightly. I had 7 days left of my contract where he could've allowed me to stay, because my lease ended on Sep 21st, while my working contract ended on the 28th. He had my room promised to someone else almost a month before my lease was up. I wouldn't rent from him again. There were other shady things I noticed but nothing major. Just be careful when renting here.
