A wonderful stay in St John's!
This home was such a special place to me for the duration of my stay. All the natural light, wonderful plants, and the view were so refreshing, not to mention how attentive and helpful B was! He did all that he could to ensure that my parents and I were comfortable, from installing a grab bar in the shower for my mother to stocking the kitchen with all the essentials we needed to cook and bake delicious food. He was also quick to respond to questions and concerns we had during our stay. This apartment is furnished with extremely comfortable beds and a couch that pulls out as well. There's a large porch where I spent many an afternoon reading and enjoying the view across the Willamette. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice break from the bustle of Portland. There are multiple coffee shops and restaurants as well as a gym and yoga studio all within walking/biking distance. It's a quick 5-10 minute drive to Forest Park with miles on miles of beautiful trails.
Comfortable 2 bedroom with a spectacular view (6832 N. Willamette Blvd.)
This property lives up to its name: the view of the Willamette from the deck was truly beautiful at all times of day and night, and the place was decorated nicely. The living room seating was ample for just relaxing or watching the wide selection of shows available on the TV, and there was easy access to the kitchen and the dining area. The kitchen appliances worked perfectly. The stove and fridge were large, and there was ample counter space for cooking and baking. Also, the host supplied basic provisions for starting the day off well. The bedrooms were spacious, with nice furniture and very comfy beds, and there was easy access to the bathroom, which had old-fashioned tile lining a good shower and retro green (!) bathtub. Internet service was flawless. There were sliding doors and many windows with access to the beautiful view, Perhaps as important was the friendliness and responsiveness of our host B, who provided much helpful information about the apt. as well as the area.
