A wonderful place to live!
This has to be one of my favorite stays on furnish finder! The place is very clean and comfortable. The appliances are up to date and the kitchen is well stocked. S also made my stay wonderful. She is quick to respond and if there are any issues, for instance I had an issue with electric sockets in the kitchen, she was quick to fix the problem. She is very friendly, easy going, and open to any suggestions to make your stay more comfortable. The location is also amazing, walking distance to wineries and restaurants and a short drive to other main attractions in the the area. I highly recommend staying here!
not quiet.
The studio itself is very charming, I loved it. I work super early mornings so I tend to sleep around seven or eight PM. The unit is above the garage, the tenants that stay in the basement unit are extremely loud, go into the garage slamming the door, on the phone in the garage yelling etc. they woke me up almost every day from slamming the garage door. The fridge you have use of in the garage will shut off, so you have to check it every day, or you risk loosing food, also the basement tenants put their stuff in your fridge with out asking. The parking is awful, they could park two cars in the driveway one behind the other but choose not to, so you are stuck with two options of parking on the street and sometimes they are taken by neighbors so there is no where to park. The area is beautiful and great for walking around, seems very safe.
Not worth the price you have to pay
The place is brand new and updated. It says two bedrooms, but you're only getting to use one, because the other bedroom is used as storage, for your personal belongings, and for the owners personal belongings. The kitchen does not come with a dishwasher. I don't use a dishwasher to wash my dishes. But I I would use a dishwasher for my drying rack. There is no oven, cooktop stove or hood vent. so I'm mostly ate out all the time because I really couldn't cook in the apartment. There's no parking on the property for your vehicle. I had to park my car on the street and had to move it early morning Friday so the garbage truck could make its round through the street. There is no source for heat for the cold months I was literally freezing every night for the month of September. The place is livable, but not worth paying $2300 a month.
Wonderful Unit
I had the pleasure of staying in this unit for my current contract at Evergreen Medical Center. The first plus is that the unit is brand-new, thoughtfully designed, and has literally everything you need for your stay. It looks exactly as it does in the listing pictures and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, and only a 8-10 min drive to the hospital. The host, S, lives in the unit upstairs and is very attentive and responsive. There's a private entrance, and the neighborhood is a walkable distance to stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others!
