Apartment in Kansas City, Missouri
Landlord Tenure: 3 years, 6 months
The Crossroads Arts District is the place to be in Kansas City. The best bars, restaurants and nightlife are found in KC, plus you are so close to many art galleries. Terrace on Walnut is located in a quieter pocket of the Crossroads, so you get all the fun and convenience of being near the action, but the peace and quiet of being out of the way. Each unit comes equipped with an in-unit washer/dryer, smart thermostat and control...
Perfect spot!
Building is clean and access control, which is nice in a city I wasn’t familiar with, that it was secure. Bed is comfy, super cute decor, neighbors were surprisingly kind. Fitness has Pelaton bike and free weights. Close to everything you need, great stay for me!
I had many small issues with this unit You will see for yourself if you decide to stay here. The reason for this review is simple. I left the unit relatively clean and tidy. I was not told of any issue with how I left the unit. And despite being assured repeatedly that I would receive my full security deposit, I still don't have it. It's been over 5 weeks now. Over 2 weeks ago I was told the check was in the mail. I didn't know it takes mail that long from KC to Omaha. She also told me she would overnight the check if need be. However, I haven't been able to get a response from the leasing agent lately. She wouldn't ghosts a former tenant would she. Be careful out there and good luck.
Great Location!
My husband and I stayed at this property for a month in Nov 2023. We previously lived in KC for 20 years, so we knew this area well. It's one of our favorites in the city! Not having a car, this is the perfect location. You have many bars, restaurants, groceries, shops, etc all in walking distance. KC has free public transportation that will take you anywhere further away. If you are not used to city lights, noise, people, it may not be your ideal location. The apartment is well furnished/decorated, and is comfortable. Good wifi. The few negatives are that the bed is listed as a queen, but it's really a full. So it's a tight squeeze for 2 people. It's also incredibly squishy (personal preference) and felt like sleeping on an air mattress. I was also surprised with how well the apt was outfitted, that there were no pots and pans. We brought our own. The gym is a few old treadmills and light weights, but there are many nearby gyms that will let you join for a short period.
Great location
Apartment is a beautiful loft and has a lot of space. The building is well taken care of. Crossroads arts district is the perfect location.
