Perfect Stay and Location

We stayed almost 5 months while closing on and renovating a new house nearby. The hosts were great at communicating with us from start to finish. Only five minutes from downtown Wheaton right next to a beautiful Park and Marsh Land mention the Prairie path. Comfortable three bedroom home with a huge basement with walk out to the backyard. Laundry were excellent in the kitchen was very convenient for us with three staying there.

Wonderful home!

I stayed here for two months with my sister and two dogs while my home was being renovated. We really enjoyed our stay and Mark, the owner, couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. The home was well equipped with everything we could possibly have needed during our stay. It's located in a nice quiet neighborhood with a park close by where I enjoyed some nice walks with my dogs. It's convenient to shopping, restaurants and transportation. It is close to the train tracks but the train noise wasn't an issue at all. It was a great place to stay when we needed a home away from home.

Great Find!

We stayed here for 2 months while we were waiting to move into our new home. The house was perfect for our family of 3 and our black lab. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in porch and watching movies in front of the big TV in the basement. We walked the dog everyday at nearby Graf Park and had fun exploring the Lincoln Marsh trails and connecting Prairie Path. Mark is very nice and accommodating. When I noticed the kitchen didn't have a toaster he quickly had one sent over. The only thing to note is that the train tracks run along the back of the house and it takes some getting use to. It's just like living near the El, eventually we stopped hearing it. Overall it is a great little house in a great location and I would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable house, great location and excellent host

My family stayed here for a month when we first moved to the area. We had a really nice stay. Mark was an excellent host. He communicated well and and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. The house was immaculate clean and it was fully stocked and furnished with everything you would need. The house is close to the train tack, but the windows in the house were well insulated so the train noise was not an issue. The house is located in a family friendly neighborhood right near a large park with biking/walking trails and a play ground. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

Cozy and Great Location

I really enjoyed my stay at this house and was able to bring my dog with me! Great location a couple houses down from a public park and in a nice neighborhood. I loved going outside on weekend mornings and drinking my coffee in the screened in porch with the pup at my feet. My favorite part was the large, open basement. It has a large screen tv and a couch with some incredibly comfy pillows. Also in the less finished part of the basement, there is a large desk where I was able to spread out and do my hobbies. The one downside to the place is the trains. Trains constantly run behind the house and can be quite loud. I'm a heavy sleeper, so I didn't have any issue, but it can be disturbing on a nice peaceful afternoon. Regardless, I would absolutely stay here again! Mark is a great host and will work with you to make sure your stay is as good as it can be!

Great location!

My family and I stayed here for several months due to a house flood at our permanent home, and this property made us feel at home! Cant recommend it enough - plenty of space with the three bedrooms, wonderful basement that was great for our kids, and walking distance to park! We loved spending the Fourth of July here - could see fireworks from park across from the house!

Great Basement!

We stayed at this house while we were displaced by renovations. The hosts were very helpful and flexible during our move in/move out. It is a great house with an awesome retro feeling basement where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed walking to downtown Wheaton during our stay.
