10/10 stay!!!

We had a really awesome experience staying here!! Cherie was an awesome host!! She made sure we had everything we needed for our 13 week stay and anytime we needed anything she was very responsive when it came to handling things. Living on the lake was a phenomenal experience it's so beautiful here. The house is fully stocked up with anything you would need in each room, it was super clean when we got here, the relaxing room was very nice, super spacious back yard, the dock had plenty of fish also so it was really cool getting off work and jumping right on the dock! This was a 10/10 for my partner and I :)

BIG MISTAKE

We would NOT recommend this home to anyone. We were not allowed to view it prior to making arrangements to secure it. The home was filthy prior to move in. There was mold growing on the window seals. The owner lives out of state. She has had a few different property managers but doesnt allow them to take care of the property. The home is in disrepair. Not a suitable home. The next door neighbor, controls the heat and air from her home! We also didnt get keys to the home until day 45 of our stay. A large tree fell on the home that still has damages to it. The water that came into the home from the hole in the roof was never addressed. The air conditioning was turned off by someone outside of the home. The home had a large infestation of roaches, ants, and spiders. Finally after a month she sent someone to spray but that didnt help. We strongly hope she is thoroughly going through the home to make needed repairs and comes up with a better management plan.

It's difficult to respond to a review where all the facts are not accurate. I really do not even want to dispute item by item or call this tenant a liar or spend much time here. What I will say is that we have never had tenants who weren't five star satisfied, in fact I keep in touch with two tenants who stayed there 8 months each. We have never had a tenant say the property was "filthy" upon receipt. If any tenant were to check in and not like the cleanliness of the property all they need to do is text me and the cleaning crew manager would be there directly and remedy the issues. She lives less then a mile away. We do not like unhappy tenants in our homes. It's bad luck and bad energy. If any tenant were to check in and within the first two hours change their mind we would happily allow them to exit the property, refund their money and allow them to move on. There is not an issue with the property being "infested with spiders, roaches or ants." When this tenant did report this issue an exterminator was sent directly, not a month later as they claimed and we spray the property regularly, its NC, its on a lake and we absolutely manage the pest control. I have lived there myself for 60 days at a time and have never felt infiltrated by pests. To address the keys and the AC I will simply say when assistance was offered to them they declined. Most often the tenant had the AC set at 69 which can cause an AC unit to freeze up. The tenant took possession May 31 and by mid July it was clear that nothing was going to right this situation. In fact I would have flown out there so they could discuss issues directly to me however a member of my family, whom I am his guardian, was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Half way thru July I suggested they leave and that they would have zero obligation to the remainder of the lease. Gratefully they were willing to leave. The tenants DID NOT honor our verbal agreement that they would have the carpets cleaned because of having two big dogs. To Bobbi and Aaron we sincerely regret that your stay had some bumps we were not able to remedy to your satisfaction.

Great stay

We had a great stay at the home! Cherie was a very helpful landlord and we loved our view in the backyard of the lake! There were also a lot of kitchen appliances provided that we enjoyed using throughout our stay!

Great place to stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my six months at this cozy bungalow on a lake. The house was clean and comfortable, and contained everything I needed. It was near grocery stores, shopping, church, but still on a quiet street. I heartily recommend staying here.

Our Extended Stay

My fiance and I stayed here for several months and loved how close it is to downtown, restaurants, and the climbing gym we go to. The fenced in backyard was awesome since we have our dog and the neighbors were really nice. We felt right at home here and LOVED being on the lake. Everything in the house is nice and we loved utilizing the gym and the guest room as my home office (I work remote). I would stay here again and would definitely recommend! C was also great and very responsive.

lakehouse

I enjoyed my stay at the Lakehouse. I have 3 small dogs that loved the large fenced in back yard as well. It was quiet, safe and had everything I needed. Downtown is less than ten minutes away and so is grocery , restaurants and shopping. The landlord was always available by phone . I recommend it !
