Not clean on arrival

The studio was as pictured. However, I personally didnt feel comfortable for a couple of reasons. When I arrived the kitchen was not clean. There were food crumbs and coffee grounds on the counters, oil on the stove, the freezer was dirty, and the floors hadnt been swept. I spent the first several hours of my stay cleaning. The owners were responsive, apologized, and refunded me the cleaning fee which I appreciated. I also saw many spiders during my stay which I realize is not in their control. I sprayed with home defense which eventually seemed to help. The owners again were responsive and provided me with sticky strips to put on the ground which was appreciated. It just seemed as if no one had gone into the studio prior to my arrival to make sure it was clean and ready. Overall, it served the purpose but was not cozy or anything above the bare minimum.
