Beautiful Sanctuary with most Gracious Hosts

We lost our family home in Jan 2025 California fires. To recover, our daughters found us a beautiful rental near them for the summer. James and Lynette, the landlords, turned out to be amazing hosts and people. Their home has a comfortable layout well equipped in everything we need. It includes monthly visits from a cleaner helping to keep it well maintained. Our hosts helped us find local resources, from grocery stores to car repair shop, and places to visit. Gillis Ave is quiet cul-de-sac street with nice neighbors. We feel lucky to have found this home and met James and Lynette. We have fallen in love with Nyack and surrounding villages, and plant to stay in touch with our hosts. We recommend this rental and James & Lynette as great landlords, giving them our highest grades for comfort and quality of experience of living at their home. Being here helped us regain hope and energy needed to rebuild our lives. Thank you for giving us your sanctuary when we needed it most!

The Perfect Family Rental in Nyack

Our family with two young kids had an amazing 5 month stay in this charming home. The homeowners immediately made us feel at home with their warm and welcoming way. The unit was well kept, peaceful, and immaculately kept, inside and out. We enjoyed the enclosed yard with our kids through both winter and spring, a private oasis even so close to hustle and bustle. We also loved the proximity to downtown Nyack, just a quick 5 min ride to lots of parks, restaurants, and our (now) favorite library. Our toddler still asks about this house regularly because she loved her sweet room so much and all of the wonderful books that the homeowners put in place for us. They also went above and beyond and provided baby gates and child locks to make our moving experience that much smoother during a stressful time. Any time we needed something fixed or had a question, we were attended to instantly, which we really appreciated. We cannot recommend staying here enough and if I could give 10 stars I would!

Amazing unit and owners are even more wonderful. They roll out the red carpet and make you immediately feel at home. Great location - great space - great amenities -great yard!!!

Wonderful Property

Fantastic apartment with wonderful owners. When I arrived the owners instantly made me feel welcome. The apartment is clean and quiet with a kitchen, living room and bedroom. The home is located in a secluded neighborhood in Nyack. The owners do a wonderful job maintaining the property and yard. Outside is a grill and seating along with lighting. A few times a came home to freshly baked cookies and brownies. I would definitely stay again if I find myself in the area.
