Cozy 1 bedroom Loft near Downtown Detroit Riverwalk

The walls are extremely thin. Two recording studios, one above and one catty-corner, blast bass almost every night from 5 PM to 4-5 AM! You hear BUMP BUMP!! then silence for a min that tricks you into thinking it's over, then starts right back up, LOUDER! Full parties in there EVERY NIGHT, & neighbors across the hall blasted their own music just to drown out the studio! Fans, earplugs, and white noise did nothing. Sound from the event hall above carries through too, and I heard an entire movie premiere from inside my apartment! I raised this concern with the host. Her response: "That's frustrating. I'm not sure how to handle that since it's an event hall." She never addressed the studio nois! Heavy smoke smell pushed in constantly, and her air fresheners were too harsh for my asthma. Fruit flies everywhere! from day one, even though I never left food out. The water heater takes 5 minutes to warm up, then swings straight to scalding! I did not finish my lease and got out ASAP!
