We showed up to Washington for a 13 week nursing contract for SVH in Mount Vernon. Our work commute was 4 min when the red light was green. The house was in a perfect location for us. We enjoyed the home, the hospital, and the town of Mount Vernon. The story book home was well cared for and perfectly upgraded. If we ever return we will definitely reach out to see if your home is available!

The second I walked into this house I felt at home. It is extremely cozy, equipped with everything you need (and more), spacious, quirky, and in a wonderful location. Walking distance to downtown Mt Vernon, the Skagit River, the BEST co-op, restaurants, breweries, etc etc etc. If you're a nature lover and outdoor enthusiast, this is the place for you. The property owner is very accommodating, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here for 9 months. This place is a gem.

Wow! This homeowner thought through all the details to make this a comfortable home (away from home). We were impressed by the beauty of the home and the quality of everything from pots and pans to towels and bedding. The beds are comfortable and the TV room is a super cozy getaway. We also appreciated the location as a great place to get to know Mount Vernon. It's so close to downtown amenities but in a friendly neighborhood. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A native Seattleite I enjoy escaping the rain to visit sunnier climes and explore new places. My husband Kevin and I love to ski and hike and our vacations often include the mountains and wilderness areas. I work in family medicine and am passionate about diversity equity and inclusion in healthcare. Kevin's passions include investigating native flora and fauna, mountain biking and skiing and spending time with family. We currently split our time between Seattle and Mount Vernon and hope to permanently retire to the beautiful Skagit Valley in a few years.
