Evanston has 5 public beaches, Beach Passes provided for Guests. Swimming, Sun Bathing, Boating, Enjoying a tranquil sunrise or moonrise. Nothing is quite like the Lake Michigan beach.

Even when it's too rough for swimming, the beaches are lovely.

Although the lifeguards leave at sundown the beaches are still open for visitors.

NU offers classes in sailing and windsurfing.

Evanston's 5 beaches are free for residents (just t ake a copy of your lease to get a free pass) and all are well-staffed with lifeguards.

Kayak, Paddle Board, Catamaran, and Sail Boat Rentals are all available at Greenwood Beach

If you have your own boat you can buy a launch pass for the Sailing Beach ramp.

You're never too young to start paddleboarding.

2 different train lines serve Evanston. Taking the EL you can easily cover the 8 miles to downtown Chicago in about half an hour. On the METRA, with a single change of trains, get to Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, St. Louis...even New Orleans!

Absolutely AMAZING

Sara was the most amazing landlord and host. The house itself comes with everything you could possibly need to move in, settle in, and kick start your daily life instantly. The unit is absolutely beautiful, remodeled, and ready to host you and your family. Sara was so incredible and welcoming with my roommate, our fur babies, and myself. I could not have asked for a better landlord/neighbor for my stay here!

You and your roommate were so fun to have around! I loved your Fantasy Football Draft Party in the yard, and seeing you and your friends dressing up and going out - a lot different than the good old days! You're welcome back if you have another contract in the area!

Best experience ever !!!

Sara was an amazing landlord and host. The condo was amazing and great for having a family and hosting for the holidays. Everything in the condo is brand new and state of the art. Our family will always cherish our time there and would recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live.

Love that you and your little family came for 3 months and stayed for 15! Watching your daughter learn to walk and start to talk was a real privilege. And I so enjoyed that she loved to eat all of the yellow tomatoes from the garden! It was great having you stay again over the holidays in 2024, it felt like Old Home Week! :)
