Amazing host and location

I had a great time staying at this place. The room was fully ready to move in and I didnt have purchase any furniture. Kitchen and bathroom were always great. The host and his wife are truly amazing and caring individuals. The best people so far in my last 27 years of renting. They replaced water heater immediately when it had a problem. Also they were very prompt when anything was need. Area is very calm and quiet too. I sincerely thank the host and his family for providing a great place to stay!

Great place with great hosts

This property is a great place to stay, especially for healthcare workers! It is located close to Mercy, Memorial, Kern Medical and Bakersfield Heart Hospital, so traffic was never an issue. The room is spacious with heating and cooling units. The closet is spacious with hangers and ironing. Office chair and desk is great for any studying or office work, along with bar stools and table for dining. The kitchen is also well-stocked with all supplies needed for home cooking. The bathroom is clean and comes with all hygiene needs. The hosts are also extremely kind people who come in once or twice a week to clean the common areas, but they will never enter your room without permission. E was a great host - he was only a text or call away and he was always prompt in responding to any inquiries. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Bakersfield!

Clean, quiet room near hospitals

I was a travel nurse in the Bakersfield area doing an assignment at a hospital close by and E was a great host! The house was consistently cleaned weekly, AC/heat worked great, no issues with plumbing or water. I always felt safe as there was a separate keypad lock for the front door and for my room with separate codes. Cameras and bright lighting were also present outside the home. E was always prompt in answering any questions I had. The other tenants I encountered were very quiet and nice. Eric does a good job vetting tenants that are also respectful of the property and other guests. I would absolutely recommend this room to any health professionals traveling in the area.
