Beautiful, Quaint , Cozy Home

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful, quaint and cozy home. The location was easy to get to, and centrally located to surrounding suburbs of Greenville. Charming downtown Greenville was a short drive as well as Paris Mountain . The home had all the essentials needed for our one month stay. The decor was very charming and well done. The house was very clean. The yard and surrounding woods were lovely. We loved everything about this home and felt very safe. Churches were everywhere and the people were so friendly. We plan to go back and stay there again. The landlord Susan was a delight, and there were no hassles getting our deposit back. Everything went smooth. Susan goes out of her way to be sure her guests are beyond comfortable. Thank you Susan!

Love country living

My husband and I, as well as our 2 dogs loved staying in this lovely home. It is in a quiet area, has a beautiful yard, and is close to everything we needed. The neighbors across the way are the only close neighbors and they are very friendly and have baby goats. The landlord takes wonderful care of the yard, and it shows. She just had a new wooden fence put up while we were there. She informed us beforehand when they would be coming. I work night shift so she wanted to be sure it wasn't a problem. There are woods behind the house and we saw beautiful birds, squirrels and deer. The back deck is a quiet place to sit and watch nature. If we come back to Greenville we would love to stay here again. So relaxing and comfortable, and a landlord that actually cares about the place and the renters. She was also gracious enough to return the cleaning deposit because we left the home clean.

Great location, difficult experience

The home is beautiful, well-maintained, and in a great, private location just five minutes from Walmart. I'd say rate the property itself 5 stars. However, the landlords constant presence made living here uncomfortable. She was on the property several times a week doing yard work, often for hours, sometimes with a full crew. There were no blinds in main living areas, and we never received notice before these visits, making it feel less like our home and more like house-sitting. She enforced very strict rules, communicated in an accusatory way, and our move-out deposit dispute was handled poorly. She even made a comment to my wife implying she knew when she slept in, which was unsettling. We also experienced a troubling incident where neighbors fired a pellet gun toward us while we were outside with our dog. Great house, but the landlords behavior and neighbor issues made the stay less than desirable.
