Landlord Issues
I stayed here September- Mid November 2024. My experience with the landlord was a difficult one upon move out. The corner of a comforter was snagged in the washer, and the landlord deducted $50 from my deposit without proof of purchase or a receipt stating he doesn't need proof for items under $125". The lease states wear and tear are accepted, but the landlord did not comply with the lease. The comforter was cheap and scratchy, and certainly did not cost $50. Beware that this landlord will deduct your deposit without proof. (I have traveled for over 4 years and have never not received my deposits back) The pillows provided were yellow and I chose to not use them. There is a dip in the road right next to the house that causes cars to scrape against the pavement- you'll hear this all day and throughout the night so just fyi if you are a light sleeper.
Studio
Surprisingly roomy for a studio. Glad to have in house washer/dryer. Full kitchen was a plus. Nice little yard for my small dog. Great neighborhood and walking trails. Landlord was nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a rental.
A Wonderful apartment & Awesome landlords
When I moved into Jaspreet and Guneet's apartment I was only planning on a 3 month stay, but I actually stayed for well over a year because it was such an adorable and cozy little place! As a travel nurse I have had my fair share of good and bad housing experiences, but they made me feel so at home that I didn't want to leave. The apartment is a studio with all the amenities you could need and enough space to not feel crowded. The AC unit kept me nice and chill in the summer and the wall heater kept it toasty in the winter. The property is perfectly shaded by a large persimmon tree so you won't be blasted by bright, hot sunlight. There's also a perfect little patio space in the back if you'd like to bring a table and chairs. Additionally, if you need anything Jaspreet is immediately on it and ready to help and he's always friendly and approachable. Had I not taken a job in Santa Cruz I would still be here lol. If you choose to stay, you can rest assured that you will be in good hands! Btw I stayed from January 2023-March of 2024 but the calendar wouldn't let me go back that far.
