well-maintained, comfortable getaway with gracious landlords
Staying at Tony and Rhonda's studio was a true pleasure. The unit has large windows, good temperature control with radiant heat floors, and everything in the studio works. Internet speed was good for remote work. Tony and Rhonda are among the most gracious landlords I've had. Tony took care of all our trash and recycling and even offered to take our dog's poop bags to the dump, which was above-and-beyond! They let us use their washer/dryer and had the driveway plowed even when they were out of town. But most of all, I appreciated their neighborliness. Tony knew I was interested in ski beta and advised where I could find the best ski conditions on days with inclement weather. They were very tolerant of my fur baby, an 18-month-old puppy who enjoyed snowshoeing near the studio. Tony and Rhonda were also very understanding of me hosting a series of friends for meals over the month. My only regret was not being able to take Tony up on his offer to do a few ski runs together at Loup Loup!
great stay and location
Great location close to town and some nice trails. Super cute studio, in floor heat system works really well. Had all the amenities needed for travel lodging kitchen with pots/pans, cleaning supplies. Property owner is very nice and accommodating.
Ridge Studio
Ive stayed at this location for 2.5 months. It does look like the pictures and the location is beautiful, but its not comfortable for long term stays. There was no a/c or heat. I had to bring in some of my own camping supplies to stay warm or cold as needed. During a heatwave the owner eventually purchased something that is just a water evaporator. It did not help and you have to fill it with 4 gallons of water every few hours. When I asked for more relief he told me to work at a nearby cafe under some tree shade. For the cold I had my own buddy heater from camping but heat is not provided. No cleaning supplies were provided. Just use of an outdoor broom, the rest of the cleaning supplies I had to buy myself. Ive camped up and down the US and I would say this is perfect is spring or fall. I tried working with the owner but he was evasive. I termed my lease early, and left even earlier than that. The town and trails are cute. Consider it short term for glamping, not remote working
