WONDERFUL STAY!!

My daughter and I are travel nurses and we stayed here for our 13 week contract. We loved being here! The house is very well built and we never even knew when the mountain winds were blowing. The place is easy to keep cool and warm. The kitchen is perfect and very well stocked. The back deck is a great place to just sit and relax and watch the neighbors cats and listen to the birds. The bathrooms are clean and have great water pressure in the showers. The downstairs bedroom is very spacious and the game room is a nice place to hang out, but no TV in there. The driveway is paved and has room for more than one car. The owner is very responsive and friendly. She takes care of any needs that might arise. The bedrooms are all spacious, we even had our families come for a quick visit and we had plenty of room to enjoy each other. It is 30 minutes to Charlottesville but only 15 minutes to Waynesboro. The wineries and breweries around are amazing. We especially like the Blue Ridge Mountain brewery just a few minutes down the road. They have great homemade pizzas! We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the Afton area.
