Better than phenomenal!

Absolute PLEASURE to have been rewarded the experience here at the Sanctuary. Lena is the easiest person to work with and provides exceptional support and understanding in all situations which arose during my stay. Very beautiful home. Very safe neighborhood. The view: stunning. Kitchen is fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need and privacy is superior no matter the unit you choose there is a high level of privacy. Great vibes and peaceful place. I will miss this home very much.

Incredible Sanctuary / Home Base

This room in Kaimuki has been the perfect sanctuary for me. After long days of work, it’s given me the space I need to focus and recharge — it’s right nearby Kaimuki and Waikiki. Plenty of great dining, eclectic shopping, and a fun, vibrant community right at your doorstep, plus stunning views of diamond head you won’t find anywhere else. Lena is a wonderful host who has curated a truly inspirational and comfortable space. I could not recommend this space and this host enough!!

Peaceful, Comfortable, and Well-Located

I stayed here for a full month from November through December, and it was truly one of the most grounding and peaceful places Ive lived. The space is thoughtfully furnished, clean, and comfortable, with a calm energy. I felt very at home here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, restorative place to land for a month or longer.

Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful stay! I feel so grateful for my time in the Buddha Room and in this beautiful Zen Sanctuary home. Everything was clean, peaceful, healing, beautiful, and worked smoothly. Lena and other folks visiting/staying are kindest, respectful, and such wonderful community. Id be lucky to stay there again some day, and Im happy for whoever will be staying there next. Mahalo!

Great Spot

I had the pleasure of staying in this home for six months. It was a peaceful and comfortable experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The surrounding area is quiet and sereneperfect for relaxing, working remotely, or just enjoying some downtime.

Gorgeous hilltop home overlooking Diamond Head

I lived in the master bedroom of this house for 6 months in 2024 and loved the experience. Its a stunning home in the hills in a peaceful, safe neighborhood, and has all the amenities youd want. Lena is super sweet and worked with us to make sure we had what we needed. Would recommend if you want to stay in a gorgeous hilltop property with a pool thats away from the bustle of Waikiki but close enough that you can stay plugged in.

Amazing 4 month stay

I stayed in this room for four months. The property is incredible. The room is very large and comfortable. And the host Lena is very gracious and accommodating. Id recommend this room to anyone looking for a perfect stay in paradise.
