Wonderful Portage Bay neighborhood, adjacent to Eastlake neighborhood, across the bay from UW -- only 10 min north of downtown. Lovely, convenient neighborhood with lots of character and pride of ownership curb appeal. Walk to restaurants and shops.
Unique location with water view that makes you feel like you aren't completely in a city
I stayed in this upper level apartment for a year on a contract assignment with Swedish. The top things I was looking for when I chose this space is a comfortable bed, responsive host, designated parking space at no extra cost, utilities included, comfortable couch, windows to let in natural light, quiet neighborhood, washer/dryer, and a stocked kitchen. All of these were met and made my stay most comfortable. It is an older property, but well maintained and one can't beat the view of the water and all the activity that happens out there. Bring binoculars. You can walk out of the apartment and start walking on the side walks in a beautiful neighborhood. There are many runners and dog walkers around, even late at night. No homeless issues. It was an easy drive of 15 minute commute to Swedish Hospital daily. Just minutes to getting into downtown Seattle. Honestly sad to go, as I have been very comfortable here. I would definitely stay here again if I return.
What a View!
We loved staying at T's place for 3 months. The view is stunning of Portage Bay and was great to wake up to every day. The neighborhood was great. We went to some great restaurants in walking distance. The neighborhood felt super safe and friendly. T was very responsive and any issues that came up were handled quickly and with care. The kitchen was super stocked and had items that we haven't seen equipped in other rentals we have been in. I would agree with a previous reviewer that overall the appliances and bathroom is somewhat dated for the cost, but other than that we loved it!
Excellent Waterfront Stay, Close to UW!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Taras 2BR place for 7 weeks during my nursing contract and loved it! The space was well-furnished, and had every amenity we couldve needed. It is pet-friendly which was also a huge plus! Additionally, the area is extremely safe, with one parking spot included, and street parking relatively easy to find. Our only disappointment is that some of the appliances/interior finishing were somewhat dated for the cost (i.e. outdated cabinets and kitchen appliances, sunken-in couch, mostly carpeted floors). We otherwise felt rent was fair for the space, location, and amenities provided! Would love to stay in Ts place again! :)

T was a wonderful landlord and was always very helpful to us, I recommend all my travel nurse friends to check this place out! She is usually booked, so scoop it up fast! Comfy NEW beds. BEAUTIFUL views, sunrise was breathtaking. HUGE living space and the balcony is a plus. One parking spot and street parking was okay ( 6/10) for if you have two cars. Walked to UW hospital along the burke gilman trail, so easy and pretty safe! In unit laundry!
Comfortable stay!
My friend and our dogs had a great stay here! Only 12 min to Swedish cherry hill if you need to do call. Had all of the amenities we needed! Off street parking was nice! Would recommend staying here.
