Peaceful retreat

This is a lovely, tasteful and peaceful place! Lisa and Rick are kind and welcoming hosts, the place has everything you need for cooking, working and a restful night's sleep and the outdoor space is amazing. The location is very close to downtown shopping and eating but you still feel like you're away from it all. It's also walkable to the Walnut Creek Open Space with miles of trails for hiking or riding. Highly recommended!!

The Secret Garden: Amazing Hosts

A fantastic stay and I highly recommend this place. The location was perfectpeaceful and minutes always from great restaurants and shopping. A short drive to Napa and Sonoma for wine tasting. We were very surprised to open a gate leading to the property and found ourselves enchanted by the most beautiful garden. The hosts Lisa and Rick went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, are very welcoming and responsive. The hosts paid attention to details both inside and outside the home. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured. We were allowed to use the patio and BBQ area. The mattress is very comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting on the front deck, sipping coffee and tea and watching the wild life. We enjoyed a few evenings by the fire pit with the hosts and shared spirits. We will stay here again. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

Perfect!

We stayed at this lovely cottage for six weeks while waiting for our new condo to be completed. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stayfull-sized appliances including a washer and dryer, WiFi, Roku TV, and charming, cozy decor. One of our favorite things was enjoying the beautifully landscaped garden oasis. It was so peaceful and quiet, and we loved watching the birds and squirrels each day. The location is very convenientclose to Broadway Plaza with easy access to the freeways and BART. Although we didnt see Lisa and Rick often, they were fantastic hosts. Communication was easy and smooth via text. We feel so lucky to have found this place. Thank you, Lisa and Rick!

What a Gem!

This adorable cottage sits on stunning well-maintained grounds. The space had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the unit was private, well-appointed and tranquil. I could go on about the property but what really set this stay apart were our hosts, Lisa and Rick. They were beyond welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. Simply wonderful generous humans and we hope to get the opportunity to stay with them again!

Little Slice of Heaven

A beautiful peaceful sanctuary! I loved my stay at Rick and Lisa's, and they are warm and wonderful hosts. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, tranquil. The bonus room was nice ... perfect little office with view of the beautiful gardens. Love that tree! My only regret was needing to move. 5 Stars

AMAZING!

I absolutely loved this property. Great location close to shopping, restaurants and freeway. Built in 2019 with designer touches and pottery barn decor. L and R are the best landlords and so friendly and accommodating.

An absolute DREAM!

I dont think I can put into words how wonderful staying in L'S guesthouse has been. Throughout my entire stay, L has been more than accommodating and fantastic to work with. I couldnt have rented with anyone better. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and has all of the amenities you should need. Its in the perfect location and less than 10 minutes from John Muir Hospital and downtown Walnut Creek. You will not regret staying in this beautiful home!
