Quiet Haven In The City

A bright and peaceful escape from the city while still being so close to what Echo Park and its surrounding areas have to offer. Beja and Karen were great hosts and roommates. The views from the room as well as the garden in the backyard were magical. The room is quiet and private and I found it easy to work from home during the day and sleep peacefully at night. Highly recommend!

Jungle House

I stayed here for 3 months during a travel placement and it was truly a great experience. From the views from the bedroom window, to the porch, to all of the nooks and crannies in the yard, it's hard to imagine a more beautiful space. Karen and Beja are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Great month-long stay at Jungle House Echo Park

I had a great stay with K at the jungle house. Clean and private room, with its own living room zone in a beautiful house up in the hills with amazing foliage and landscaping, and some good hikes/strolls right out your front door. I was working some nights and was able to black out the windows and keep the room cool in LA summer to sleep well during the day. K is a great host and roommate. She was available and communicative, always kind and thoughtful, and invested in making sure my stay was a good one. I was working at LA County Hospital, and it's a 12 minute commute with no traffic, 20 minutes at its worst. Just a few minute drive to all the great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc in Echo Park and Silver Lake. Overall a perfect place to stay for me for the month, would stay there again in a heartbeat.
