Safe, Convenient, Affordable

Great place! Definitely one of the most affordable short/medium term rental spots in town. The entire house is rented out, so everyone gets their own room (about 10 rooms) but shares a few bathrooms and a kitchen. Kind of feels like a dorm, but where everyone living there is a respectful adult. Louisa is responsive, very reasonable, has a ton of local knowledge, and genuinely cares about her tenants. Very centrally located, which is super nice if you don't have any mode of transportation besides bus/walking. No frills, but has everything you need. Felt safe as a single woman new to the city.

Convenient location and Wonderful Landlady

I stayed here for two months, transitioning from the mainland. My room was clean and roomy with a large comfy bed, clean sheets and pillow, fan, table and chair and shelving. Perfect setup. Walking distance to Down to Earth health food store (great coffee and hot food), grocery stores, and drugstore. Top of the list for me are the quick bus rides that take you to downtown Honolulu, Manoa Valley, UH campus, Kaimuki, Waikiki, Hawaii Kai, just everywhere! Louisa responds immediately to questions and is a thoughtful problem solver. She is empathetic and has a good heart. I felt safe here. Roommates were students and professionals, a good mix of polite people. You will love that everyone minds their own business. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to friends. Quite private room close to everything

I had an opportunity to stay at Louisas house. The room and house was clean. Washer and dryer available to use in the house with a kitchen also. Anytime I needed anything, she answered and was super nice! This is an amazing deal. She isnt trying to rip anyone off! She is a real person and her place is great! Also provides a fan. Amazing place!

This is a very and and convenient house in terms of price and location. The landlord L keeps and maintains the cleanliness of the house and is very responsive and reliable and fair. You cant go wrong with this rental

Cool place

I would like to give a big A plus for this place.My landlady was super helpful and super kind & thoughtful.I was on the verge of being homeless & Ms.L saved me from it. This is the best option I could find in areas around here.Everything is easily accessible and that's the best part.Grocery stores -the Safeway & Times supermarket are within walking distance...The bus stop is just few minutes from the apartment.Its shared bathroom/kitchen was very clean & well stocked with cleaning products.There is a washer/dryer in the unit & is a lifesaver for us all.The landlady stocks the laundry detergent too.What more could one want?? There is no AC but m toughing it out a regular faN & its no problem for me....I could walk safely @ nights along its streets without any fear....I have lots of good stuffs to say about this place....This place if good for those who are on budget & travelling medical professionals & others........!!!
