Winter in Eureka

We had a great stay in Eureka! Our stay began just before Thanksgiving and ended just after Valentines Day, and winter in Eureka was luckily light on the rain for us which still meant it was very soggy, lol! The apartment was every bit of comfort that was needed, although I would recommend a very good pair of slippers to keep your toes warm. Brian and Ami were great hosts, and very responsive whenever a need arose. The neighborhood was very calm, and having the park and the corner store a block away was awesome.

South fork...

I want to start off by saying we could NOT hv had a better landlord ....they were thoughtful,easily reached, and extremely understanding...our job got extended two or three times and they worked with us every time..the neighborhood is quiet for the most part...the biggest highlight was the respect of privacy...I would recommend this place for anyone that wants to feel home away from home....and if we're back here for and 2nd round of work, I hope and pray that u guys hv availability at this place again...god bless yall...im only giving 5 stars because I couldn't give 6...thanks again for everything

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 mos while working at st joes and it was a very short drive. The landlords are local and were very responsive if anything arose like a clogged drain etc. the unit had everything we could ask for kitchen appliances, extra linens and blankets, dishwasher, w/d. Would recommend!

Perfect, cozy, short-term rental

I lived here for 3 months for a clinical rotation with a classmate, it is a short 5 min drive to St. Joseph's and also very close to downtown and Samoa beach. B and A were amazing hosts who made sure we had everything we needed, they are also a great resource if you are looking for things to do in Humboldt! The unit is very nicely decorated and had all household/kitchen appliances and linens we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and I always felt safe. I would highly recommend this unit for its fair price, gracious hosts, and home-y vibe to anyone looking for a short or long term rental in Eureka!
