Great Location, Private Bathroom & Comfortable Stay – Perfect for Students

I had a great experience staying here and highly recommend it, especially for students. The space is cozy and well set up, with a very comfortable bed and a private bathroom. There’s also a desk right outside the room, which is perfect for keeping your study/work area separate from where you sleep. The location is super convenient. Close to San Marcos colleges, about 10–15 minutes to the beach and a great surf spot. Costco is nearby for gas and groceries, and Smart & Final is walking distance. The living situation is easygoing. The downstairs living room is mostly yours except during shared meal times. Cathy (owner) and Kate (tenant) are both kind, respectful, and great to live with. Overall, a very positive and comfortable place. I’d definitely stay again.

Quiet, great place to stay!

Cathy was an excellent host; she was very on top of things and responsive if anything needed to be fixed and always made you feel comfortable. Quiet area and safe neighborhood with - everything was very clean and well organized - I always felt comfortable, safe, and overall had a great stay here. Highly recommend - thanks Cathy! :)
