Save yourself the headache

I booked this stay last minute and initially appreciated the host accommodating the booking. With a cleaning fee charged, I expected a clean apartment, but that was not my experience. There was visible dust, hair, and debris in multiple areas, and the bathroom specifically had multiple bugs. The home felt worn, and there is no access to the thermostat, which made the space uncomfortable at times. My biggest issues were with the lease terms and deposit. I was given move-in/out dates that totaled 26 days rather than a full month or the 28-day term discussed. When I brought this up, I was told additional daily charges would be required to extend to a full 4 weeks. After moving out, my deposit was not returned within 30 days and was only addressed after I sent a formal demand letter, despite prior attempts to communicate with the landlord. Overall, this taught me to take negative reviews more seriously before booking as many of these issues were previously mentioned

Very Spacious and Comfortable Basement Apartment

About the best place I have stayed so far in Lexington. The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, close to the park and shopping centers. The apartment doesn't have the feel of a basement at all. No noise or interference from any neighbor. We really enjoyed our stay. The games are a plus, no dull moment at all. Highly recommended.

Cute and Spacious

Great location, right off Richmond Road Lexington. Near Jacobson Park and grocery stores. Close to hospitals. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Wide screen home theater for great relaxation. Safe area. Great to walk. We would have extended our stay if I extended my travel contract. And I will return here if I come to Lexington again! Abbey was a great host, quite responsive and friendly. Everything works in the house, he comes around very quickly whenever there was little issues. Even as it is a basement, we had all the needed comfort and never felt hindered. Great place!

Great Place for the Price

The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable for me and my partner. We had nice time resting and enjoying the wide projector screen as we watched movies at night. Access to all places of interest. The host Abbey is quite friendly and helpful throughout our stay. we really felt at home here and would surely come back again. Thank you Abbey for a wonderful stay that fits with our budget.

Not as clean as pictures potray, and they try what they can to keep your deposit.

Bugs were everywhere and looked like they hadn't cleaned under anything in a long time. I didn't complain as I don't like confrontation and I dealt with it. When I left it was cleaner than when I arrived save for linens I put in a basket for them. Later when I inquired about my deposit they accused me of stealing queen bed sheets and cover and that I stained the mattress(first there was a mattress cover on it so i don't think it's possible I stained the mattress and second I Don't even have a queen bed in my home only a king and toddler bed). They gave me part of my deposit once I said I would take the issue to furnished finder but said the rest was for a cleaner but a cleaning fee was not on our lease. I mentioned this and was ignored. I have been traveling for a while so I have stayed many places and have never had any issues like I did with them.
