Delightful BR Basement Apartment in Excellent Location

Thoughtful Host, Exceptional Stay

I couldn't have asked for a better home! Allen was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to our needs throughout our entire stay. He even made sure we knew how to operate the built-in floor heaters on a particularly cold night. The home is exceptionally well-equipped, with ample closet and drawer space and a great variety of amenities, including a washer and dryer, hot shower, air fryer, toaster, microwave, full-size appliances, and even an iron. Most importantly, my daughter and I felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay, which meant a great deal to us. Parking was never an issue, which can be a challenge in D.C. We were almost always able to park directly in front of the house. There are also convenient shopping options nearby, including Walmart, Safeway, and Target. This home truly has everything you could need and more. We would gladly stay here again!

5 Star stay, great owner!

I had an outstanding experience at this property easily 5-star stay. From day one, the unit was exactly as advertised: clean, fully furnished and truly move-in ready. It had everything I needed, including a comfortable living space, well-equipped kitchen, large TV with cable and streaming, and reliable WiFi, which was critical for work. The location was another highlight—safe, convenient and close to grocery stores, restaurants and transportation, making daily life easy. What really stood out was the landlord. Communication was excellent—responsive, professional and easy to work with. Any questions or requests were handled quickly, making the stay stress-free. The space was quiet, comfortable and clearly designed for short or longer stays. Everything was functional and well-maintained. I highly recommend this property rare to find this level of comfort and professionalism. Would definitely stay again.

Such a Gem!

I stayed here throughout an internship I had over the summer and absolutely loved it. The apartment comes with everything! I just had to bring myself and my clothes. Allen is a wonderful host, and I would gladly stay here again if I had the chance!

Home away from home

This stay was absolutely lovely! The landlord had absolutely everything you could ever possibly need/want in the apartment. The attention to detail was insane. From having every kitchen utensil possible (which made cooking meals very easy) to multiple different seasonings (never had to worry about not having something to make these meals) to the heated floors throughout the entire apartment, to the dimming reading lights above the bed. The shower and bedroom size was also lovely and spacious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A was also so very kind and very attentive! Coming here was my first time ever away from home and he made staying here truly feel like my home away from home. I recommend this unit to everyone. It truly was a wonderful place.

Lovely Basement Apartment

My fianc and I stayed here for 7 weeks and A was an amazing host, he was approachable, welcoming, and always available if needed. The apartment was beautiful, clean, up-to-date on all appliances, and very modern. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would 100% live there again if we were in the DC area. Highly recommend!!

Truly a Home Away From Home

If you have stopped on this ad and thought "this looks nice, but let's see the review's". Prepare to be amazed. The basement apartment is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated to accommodate most any style or taste. The warm radiant floor heating makes getting out of bed on chilly mornings easier, and getting out of the shower so much better! The A/C is awesome as well so you can stay comfortable no matter what the temp is. The Queen bed is very comfortable and the closet space is great as well. There is also a nice built in dresser in the closet which is great too. The kitchen has great appliances and I was able to cook meals which is great as well. The neighborhood is very safe and close to everything. I walked daily around it and felt safe always. The landlord, is the most attentive and genuinely nice person you will ever meet. Take my advice, if you are thinking about this apartment, do it! I would give it 5 stars without hesitation!
