Elk Creek Retreat

E and P fantastic landlords, great people that became sweet friends. Good area with private oasis. Situated in a basement apartment, this is a safe spot along a secluded road. Clean with everything you need to stay! I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Elk Creek is a serene property that is lovingly cared for. The owners, E & P, are kind and gregarious people. The apartment is spacious in terms of an ADU. The main living area is very open and rustic, providing beautiful views of the backyard- especially at sunset. It's comfortable and cozy for 1-2 people, but did not feel cramped with guests. Bedroom is also a good size, and the 2 dressers were appreciated. Never had any issues with kitchen, bath, W/D or utilities. Loved using the fireplace! The grounds & community are lovely. I felt very safe here. From the private patio, custom firepit, big yard, lavender field, wildlife & creek, there is so much to love! Commute to/from work was simple. About a 10 minute drive off I-70. The true beauty of this home, though, is E & P. They are "good people," offering help, food & friendship from the start. I loved getting to know them and their wonderful community during cookouts, playing yard games, or just visiting over wine :)
