Great location and view!

Really enjoyed staying here. The location was great for getting around Richmond and the neighborhood is beautiful. The room and bathroom were exactly what I needed. The views of the river are great after a long day of work. If I come back to Richmond for another long stay, this is where I would want to be.

House of Healing

I have nothing but good things to say about this property and my experience living here! The atmosphere lends itself to peace and healing. The house itself is immaculate and well thought out. The property - breathtaking. Grant is also very attentive and works very hard at making everyone who rents from him very comfortable and respected. He communicates in a timely manner and lets no concern go unnoticed or unaddressed. When I came to stay here, I had some complications in my life that I was working through. In turn, I found this location to be a space where I could grow personally and professionally. I will always be grateful for my time at this location. Anna and Grant, thank you for being so encouraging! Anyone who ends up renting will not regret doing so. I wish you both all the best!

Outdoor Oasis

This rental was everything I hoped it would be and more. I was initially a bit apprehensive as I've always had a full apartment, so concern for cooking meals, as well as living in someone's home almost stopped me from inquiring. But I am 1,000% glad I did! Yes, I had to get a little creative with meals, but not a challenge I couldn't overcome. As for living in the owners home, he is the nicest, kindest, most respectful person you could rent from. He gave me more than my share of privacy and with private elevator access, it was almost like you lived alone on this property, but with the comfort of knowing someone was nearby if you had any concerns. The room and bathroom are perfect. Very high quality craftsmanship of the home and furnishings. I LOVED my outdoor time at this property. I will truly miss staying here, but can assure you if I ever returned for work in this area, would absolutely, without reservation, reach out to G to see if he had a vacancy.

Rest & Relaxation

I had the joy of staying in this beautiful home on the James River. I've made many fond memories and seen more wildlife than a hunter, lol. The host (G) has been very gracious and has provided me with any needs that I had. The room has a new, very comfortable foam mattress, a small fridge/freezer, microwave and a keurig coffee maker. You will have your own bathroom, with a bathtub/shower to help you unwind after a long days work. There is a daybed next to the window for beautiful views and a perfect place to read. I love to stand out on the enclosed deck and just breathe in the fresh air, or sit in one of the rocking chairs and stare at the river and the wildlife. It's hard to believe that this Oasis is only about 20mins from the city! The neighborhood is safe, secure, and monitored. It's a beautiful area to go for walks and enjoy the picturesque homes and scenery. I would 100% recommend staying at this River Retreat!
