Unique Location, Imperfect Experience

I stayed here during my first time living in Roanoke and overall had a positive experience. The downtown location, historic character, mountain views, and proximity to local businesses made the apartment memorable. It is directly beside the train station, which I personally loved, and the building blocked most of the noise surprisingly well, though light sleepers may feel differently. Parking was the biggest drawback. I often had to pay for a space away from the building, while parking nearby could result in a ticket. The surrounding area also has a noticeable unhoused population, especially at night, and occasionally felt uncomfortable after dark. Toward the end of my stay, I also had thermostat issues and periods when the heat would not work properly. Despite those problems, the location and atmosphere made it a good overall experience

Amazing Apt

Kim was a phenomenal landlord! The apartment was very spacious and we absolutely loved the tall ceilings. Location was nice. There's a train behind the building and we NEVER heard it!! Parking was our only issue. You have to move your car every two hours M-F. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay !!

Kim was a wonderful landlord. She takes care of her building as if it were her primary residence. The location is ideal for downtown restaurants and stores and having such an attentive landlord is just icing on the cake.

Kim was an amazing landlord. She was always responsive to any concerns and maintained the building impeccably! The location was great. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and dog parks! If I get another contract in Roanoke, Kim will be the first person I contact!
