Great studio, even better hosts!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The landlords were so kind and attentive to anything I needed. I didn't need much as I try not to bother hosts when I'm staying somewhere, but it was nice that they checked in on me from time to time, just to see if I needed anything. J's husband is a craftsman and has done some great work to the apartment and outside the rear entrance. There's parking out back a few feet from your door and it took me about 8 minutes to walk to the Rhode Island Metro Station. When I first met the hosts, we hung out for a bit and had a great conversation. Their backgrounds are fascinating, and I was intrigued as they shared some of their stories in response to my many questions. If you're in the DC area and looking for a place that's close to the train and convenient to downtown, the Capitol, the National Mall, and many other attractions, then definitely reach out to J and consider a stay here. Thank you both for your hospitality, it truly felt like I was staying with family.

Great location and fully equipped

This place really is a gem and J and her husband were great hosts! The fully-stocked kitchenette, the starter toiletries and hair dryer, comfy linens made me feel at home. The quiet environment was perfect for unwinding. Free parking spot right at the entrance, but super nice to have easy access to the red line; the station was less than 4 blocks away. One of the highlights is how available the owner issuper responsive if you have questions or need recommendations, but also very respectful of your privacy. Overall, great stay!!
