Quiet Casita in Silverlake/Los Feliz

Loved my stay!

I had a wonderful month-long stay here! The house had everything I needed to feel comfortable and settled, including plenty of towels, soap, and other thoughtful essentials. I especially loved the fresh fruit from the trees on the property-it was such a nice touch! Colleen was an incredibly attentive and responsive landlord and made the whole stay easy and stress-free. The air conditioning worked great, which was especially appreciated, and EV charging was very easy and convenient. Overall, this was a comfortable, well-equipped home with a very kind and accommodating host. Zinc was also a treat! I would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful, clean, peaceful and comfortable!

What a treat to get to spend a month at Colleen and John's casita! The neighborhood is spectacular and safe. The casita has a comfortable bed plus a futon and wall mounted tv, equipped mini kitchen with compact fridge/freezer, induction stovetop and kitchen essentials. Also, not pictured when I booked but appeared when I arrived--a super useful adjustable desk and ergonomic desk chair complete with a power strip and desk lamp. Since I was working remotely during my stay I was SO grateful and surprised at the perfect setup. Colleen and John are just awesome people and so considerate. They offered to block some light in certain small windows before I even had to ask (I'm not a morning person lol) and Colleen had coffee, half and half and sugar ready for me so I wouldn't have to worry about my morning coffee after my travels. I enjoyed my evening walks and felt so safe in the area. Trader Joe's and other shops are just quick 10 min walk. I miss it already and my stay just ended!

Best Studio/ADU ever!

I'm a nurse in my 30s and found this lovely studio and fell in love! I can't believe it's been so long since I've lived here. I wish I could stay forever. The Casita is really cute and truly has everything you need. Colleen, John, and their dog Zinc are all just the sweetest and made my stay that much more enjoyable. They're super helpful and quick to respond if you ever need any help with anything or issues. They're great communicators and one of the reasons why I stayed for so long. The location is close to major freeways, a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and so much more. It's quiet, easy to find parking, and has a personal laundry machine (outside) - what more do you need! The studio is quiet, safe, and has blackout curtains. It was perfect for me when I was a travel nurse and even as someone who just needed a place to stay in LA. I highly recommend the Casita for anyone who wants to explore LA and is in the middle of almost everything.

truly the BEST experience!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here for back to back travel nurse contracts (almost 1 year). Being from Georgia, I had no clue where to live and I still can’t believe how lucky I was for it to have been in the casita. It is in the most incredible neighborhood, with the most welcoming hosts. The space is private with gorgeous views and a peaceful backyard. The neighborhood is very safe, walkable to the best acai bowls, trader joe’s, coffee shops, run clubs gyms…the list goes ON! This spot is a gem, and how fortunate anyone is who gets to enjoy the experience of living here next!

Perfect stay at one of a kind place - A+

This was a dream. Colleen and John are the loveliest people in the world. The casita is a detached back house and little slice of heaven. Natural light, laundry, mini kitchen, plenty of hidden storage... truly perfect. And it's in the best location you could imagine - a beautiful neighborhood tucked away in a slice of Los Feliz. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place to book in LA
