Mixed Experience During Showing

We had a mixed and ultimately uncomfortable experience and wanted to share for others considering this rental. The owner contacted me almost immediately after I applied and asked several personal questions about why we needed housing. I explained that we’re a family of four who currently live in Saratoga, are doing renovations, and were looking for a temporary place to stay. During the showing, the interaction felt standoffish. The owner made unsolicited comments about our renovation plans, offered opinions on whether we should move or stay in the area, and compared neighborhoods and homes, including positioning his neighborhood and residence as “a step above,” which felt judgmental rather than professional. The rental is located behind a gated main residence. For the price point ($7,000/month), the unit felt dated too so given everything we experienced, we decided not to proceed.

Saratoga SpringHome

Quiet beautiful property in Saratoga. The grounds are full of beautiful fragrant plants and well manicured. Itis in a very quiet area wiith hikings and also walking distance to Villa Montalvo. The house is as described. It is impeccably clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The bedrooms are large and tempurpedic mattresses guaranteed to give a good rest. The spring water is very good, better than any. Patio areas are also a quiet outdoor space. Literally one can move in with personal items only and be comfortable and in need of nothing. The owners are very accommodating of any needs and have been very kind to us. We are so very grateful to have a safe comfortable home away from home. Lastly the location is convenient for close shopping and multiple freeways to access within 3 miles of house.

Excellent stay at Saratoga Spring Estates. Amazing hosts J and S. Beautiful neighborhood and surrounding trails in the mountains. Weekly cleaning is a nice touch. If you like nature, this is your place!
