Loralee is very attentive and engaged and willing to go the extra mile for her tenants !!! Will consider again in the future !!

Wonderful Country Oasis

I recently stayed at this rental and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, the view from every room was amazing and relaxing after a long workday . (The sunsets were the best)But what really set this home apart was the owner - she was friendly, accommodating, and always went the extra mile to make sure I had a great stay. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I felt welcomed and valued. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience that is rural but yet a moments drive to everything.

Mice

My fellow travel nurses beware: this place has mice & during the month I was there it was infested with those Asian beetles & some other kind of bug that comes out when the corn is harvested. The landlord, who lives across the street & was attentive to everything that was wrong (including a fabric couch that stunk so bad I had to ask her to remove it, which she promptly did), waited until we were sitting at the kitchen table with the lease to tell me, and I quote The guy that lived her before you said he liked the placed except for the mice. Imagine working 12 hours & just wanting to fix something to eat when you get home & seeing mouse droppings on the stovetop? Highly un-recommend this rental.

Excellent Residence in the Country

My experience with this property was absolutely excellent. Loralee is a terrific landlord: Very considerate & very reasonable. The place was extremely clean, quiet & very peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. One of the best places I've ever rented.

country living

very peaceful and relaxing place to visit, I was there when the corn was about 6" tall and stayed until it was head high. The lightening bugs in the afternoon at dusk were beautiful to watch, and the barn swallows during the day were busy catching bugs. I enjoyed my time there. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. I felt at home and its in a very safe area. I shopped at Byron, just a short drive with a good view of the river. Hope to stay there again.

This house is a: "Peaceful Place to Relax And Recharge After Work". I would recommend this property to any traveler worker that is seeking a more traditional and homey like stay than a hotel. What I liked about this rental is that the owners are very nice and responsive, the property is very private and the owners are constantly improving it.
