Great Location !!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The home was beautiful, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home during my assignment. The hosts were kind, communicative, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. Everything was clean, organized, and exactly as pictured. The neighborhood was also great for walks and had such a friendly, welcoming environment. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to future travelers!

Solid choice to stay

I'm was a visiting medical student who spent 2 months rotating at UC Davis. This property is a guesthouse in the backyard of the hosts' house and was clean, cozy, and well decorated with everything I needed. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Previous reviews mentioned no in-unit/on-site laundry, but there is an in-unit washer/dryer combo machine now. There's a parking permit included, and parking abundant. The pathway to unit was well-lit at night when coming home late.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Sacramento!

I had the most wonderful stay at this property and I was very sad when it came time for me to leave! This property is so lovely--there is so much natural light and everything was pristine and in excellent condition. The kitchen had plenty of counter space for cooking and everything I could need for preparing meals. The newly installed washer/dryer was wonderful too! I really appreciated how the property was decorated! I always felt very safe especially since the entrance to the house was through the owners' house's main gate. There was always parking available and I felt safe even when I came back after dark. I worked downtown and only had a maximum of a ten-minute commute even with traffic! This location is central and perfect for exploring the city. The owners are absolutely lovely and I was always so happy when I happened to see them on my way in/out and chat. The owners are immediately responsive to any maintenance issue. I would stay there again anytime!!

Beautiful, clean, thoughtful, convenient - just what I was looking for!

Perfect place, thanks to R and Will's thoughtfulness and handiwork! I was looking to be close to UC Davis Med Center in a comfortable space by myself, cute neighborhood, but not pay a fortune - this in-law suite attached to their detached garage/behind their fenced-in backyard was just that. Everything is clean, neat, and new. I slept well in the bed, cooked easily in the kitchen, and had a perfect space to work and another to relax. Walked to/from hospital at all hours and felt safe (& Starbucks on the walk..)! Can also park on the street for free and they were kind enough to do the work to get me a (free) parking permit themselves. No laundry is truly the ONLY drawback but R provides a sweet and helpful guide upon check-in to point you in the right direction for this as well as other amenities, restaurants, etc. Really enjoyed coming home to my own space and not worrying about sharing a house, yet so enjoyed a smile, wave, and/or nice conversation from this lovely family!

Medical Student - stay during rotation

Really enjoyed my stay at this guest house just a few blocks from UCDMC. I was in and out of the unit at odd hours due to my schedule but I always felt safe at 4am and coming home as late as midnight. I never had issues with parking. The home is equipped with all necessities one would need such as a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and plates. The bed is super comfortable and it felt very quiet during the day and night. The unit does not have a washer and dryer BUT I always washed at Sudz yer Dudz laundromat, which is a less than 2 miles away. The facilities are very clean and safe area. I would consider staying here again if the home is available!

Best apartment in great location!

I stayed at the Guest house apartment for three months and absolutely loved living here. The landlords live on the same property and are absolutely amazing and always helpful! I walked to work at UC Davis for most of the contract. The guesthouse is super accessible to the rest of the town as well. I would definitely recommend this rental to any travelers out there!
