Excellent Apartment and owner

I can't say enough good things about the apartment and the building owner. Aileen has been a pleasure to rent from. She made moving in incredibly easy and the apartment was furnished extremely well. Almost everything was brand new. She connected me with someone to rent a parking space from in a gated lot next to the building. Washer and dryer in the apartment works wonderfully. You do hear some noise from the city but the neighborhood has always felt safe to me. 15 minutes to albany meds parking lot with rush hour traffic. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The best part is how responsive Aileen is if there is any issues. I locked myself out and she responded to my text almost immediately and helped me gain access to the apartment. The building itself is very nice and well maintained. Pets are allowed which is something to consider. Occasionally you will hear the sound of an excited dog barking but that is only when they're being taken outside. The tenants in the building are friendly. Mail and packages always arrive safely. The heat and ac worked flawlessly for an entire year of my stay. The personal touches were greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. A pair of slippers was waiting for me in the closet when I arrived. Modern appliances throughout. I came in really late from a flight and she made sure well in advance that i knew how to gain access and it was very easy to get in. I wouldn't look anywhere else for an apartment if I was to return to albany.

Good location, with the essentials

Great downtown location that is walkable to the Capitol, restaurants, Albany Med, and Washington park. The apartment was spacious, and finished with everything you need to be comfortable. All utilities included, plus WiFi and cable were nice touches! There is a gated parking lot adjacent to the building that you can get a remote to for an additional fee. The property manager A, was helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests. She frequently was in the building, working and checking in. Keep in mind that this is a downtown location in the heart of Albany. I enjoyed my stay here, but if you are not used to the sounds of a city, it might take a little getting used to.

I stayed here for my contract at Albany Med for 3 months. Charming space, very clean. The apartment was well equipped with everything I needed. A was very responsive with any questions or concerns I had with the property. Great location, 15 min walk to Albany Medical Center. Pets allowed which I found was a huge bonus. Would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Great property and location!

I stayed at this property during the summer of 2023 while working an assignment in the SICU at Albany med and had a great experience. The landlord A is great and very on top of things. The apartment is on the second floor. It's a large open kitchen and dining room with a huge skylight that provides tons of natural light during the day. All of the appliances are new and in great working condition. Another big bonus is the place has central AC/ heat which seems to be a rarity for most rentals in the area. The is also parking at an enclosed lot right around the corner with a personal parking space so parking is never an issue. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Another big plus is there is a huge park just a block away. For anyone working at Albany med this is fantastic location because its less than a 5-minute drive from the hospital. Overall, this is an excellent property for short or long-term rental.
