Incredible stay... I can't wait to come back!

I had the privilege of staying in Susanne's Mission Hills condo for the month of April... and I'm already planning my return trip back! The space is impeccable -- every detail is thought-out and every amenity you might need has already been included. It's also located in a very walkable neighborhood -- I loved being able to walk to local coffee shops and restaurants -- and when I needed to use my car, jumping on the freeway was a breeze. I especially appreciated how clean the apartment was and how easy it was to communicate with Susanne leading up to and during my stay. Can't recommend this spot enough!

Beautiful condo but...

Overall, we enjoyed this condo — nice space, great view. However, we would not rent from her again. We reached out six weeks before our lease end date to extend, only to find the unit had already been listed on Airbnb with no notice to us. She refused to cancel the bookings, so we were left finding a new place in just over a month — while my wife was 6 months pregnant. Also, despite paying a $180 cleaning fee, we did light cleaning on our way out as a courtesy and knew a professional crew was coming in for her Airbnb guests. She still deducted $70 for "extra cleaning" and $50 for "furniture repositioning" because we moved a few small items around. We disputed both charges. She refused to reimburse us. In years of renting we have never had a landlord deduct from a deposit. The condo is lovely. The experience was not.

We absolutely love this place! I'm a digital nomad and my partner is a traveling nurse. With two bedrooms (one has a very comfortable king sized bed) and the living room has a dedicated work space; it was ideal for our needs. The condo was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, and we were able to walk to everything. We highly recommend this place to other travelers for both short or longer-term stays. Since the property also has a short-term permit, we plan to come back for brief visits again in the future.
