Cozy with reliable internet and mountain views
We had a wonderful stay at Mike's place. My husband and I were traveling with our two cats, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The home was very cozy, especially in the winter. The hot water heats up incredibly fast, which was such a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with the things you need to cook. One of our favorite parts of the stay was walking outside and seeing the mountains right there. Theres even a hike within walking distance, which made it really fun and convenient to get outside. The internet was reliable which was important to us. We also really appreciated that the car could be parked right outside the door, which made it super easy to step out and load and unload. The home felt peaceful and comfortable overall. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying long-term. Mike is a very kind landlord, easy to communicate with, and great to work with.
Great solution for a 1-3 month rental
I was very comfortable in this apartment, which is cozy and very clean. The parking spot directly outside the front door is awesome for loading and unloading, and the laundry machines a few steps away are in good shape and fast to do a load. I really liked the owner, Mike, and he is extremely responsive to texting regardless of the nature of your question. I was in the apartment for 6 weeks while awaiting a Certificate of Occupancy on a house I'm building, and it was the perfect solution for my situation. You can hear the people upstairs, but that's true in any ground floor unit. Nothing ever kept me awake, and the neighborhood as a whole is quiet. It's great that it's far enough off the main thoroughfare that you don't hear traffic at all. I highly recommend this spot.
Comfy, peaceful haven
I stayed here while transitioning to Reno from the UK. It had everything I needed for a really comfortable stay: appliances/kitchen supplies; sheets/towels; very comfy furniture and bed; bright, open living space. Parking by the front door was fab, and the shared laundry is spacious and convenient to use. Sourcing a furnished, short-term, dog-friendly rental isnt an easy ask, so finding one this lovely was like winning the lottery. The place has a peaceful atmosphere, and though theres occasional noise from the apartment above (to be expected being on the ground floor) I made friends with the tenant upstairs and we communicated really well over any issues. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and there are stunning mountain and city views from just over the road. Mike is an exceptional landlord: extremely attentive, kind, and very quick to respond to any issues. My dog and I felt thoroughly welcome. This stay was a lovely way to launch myself into Reno, and I highly recommend it.
Nice, well-stocked apartment
I had a very good experience living here. The apartment is updated with nice flooring, furniture, and appliances, and it truly has everything you'd need to live there for a few months (cooking supplies, dishes, ironing board/iron, etc.). I also appreciated the well-maintained laundry room, the parking spot right in front, and even an extra storage closet in the laundry area if you need more room to store things. It was overall a very well-designed space with plenty of room for 1 to 2 people. The building is family-owned, and the family is very nice and responsive. The surrounding neighborhood also felt pretty safe, and I walked around there alone plenty of times for exercise without ever feeling uncomfortable.
Great, Cozy Apartment
My partner and I really enjoyed living here. It's a cozy, thoughtfully-designed living space that's perfect for 1 or 2 people. Some highlights for us were the huge comfy bed, large closet space, nice kitchen, and parking space right outside the door. The laundry room is a very short walk away, and you can stock up on quarters at the Tropical Car Wash nearby. The family that owns the complex is nice; Mike is awesome - very accommodating and responsive - and maintenance issues are resolved quickly. The only downside for me was that the neighbors were often loud, so it may not be ideal for day sleepers or people who need a quiet living space.
