Great space, great location, great landlord

I stayed in this cool place for 5 months and can honestly say that I wish it were my own home rather than just a temporary one. The neighborhood has great eateries, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, gyms, dry cleaners, and easy access to trains (city and regional) and two major bus routes. The unit is perfectly furnished with everything anyone could need with nice neighbors and a responsive landlord. I hope to stay here again whenever I find myself in need of a place in Chicago.

Justin and his unit are fantastic! Very helpful landlord and always available, the unit itself is very clean, and quiet, immediate neighbors are kind and also helpful! Justin has thought of everything you might need during your stay. I would stay here again if I come back to Chicago!

Very Positive Experience

I had a very positive experience at this property. The owner, J, was very communicative and helped me with a seamless check-in in the middle of the night. The property itself is clean, spacious, and very close to cool things like the train and multiple restaurants (if you walk around the neighborhood, you will find unlimited options, but I enjoyed DoorDashing McDonalds and having it arrive in seven minutes. You can't beat that!). It's just a good neighborhood, period. Some nearby attractions are the beach, the library, a million restaurants, and monthly farmer's markets. I was new to Chicago and this was the perfect way to dip my toes in. 10/10, would recommend!

Excellent & Affordable Chicago Rental

I had the pleasure of staying at this rental for the first 2.5 months of my Chicago residency and I can't say enough good things about it! I moved to Chicago in the Spring of 2023 and this apartment was the ideal location for getting to know the city. Safe and quiet neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle that occurs closer to the city. In regards to public transit, this rental is a quick 5-10 minute walk from various CTA bus lines & the Thorndale train station which made it very easy to travel without the use of a car. The apartment itself exceeded my expectation. A very spacious studio that was more than enough for a single individual. The apartment was packed with various essentials such as toilet paper, kitchen utensils, bed sheets, towels, and really anything you might need in your daily routine. J was a great landlord who responds to messages & requests in a prompt manner. If you're moving to Chicago and looking for a reliable rental, this is the one for you!

Comfortable and cozy

My partner and I stayed at J's studio for one month while waiting to move into our permanent home. It was the perfect place for us in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. It was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen as well as plenty of extra sheets, towels, paper products, etc. The extra "prohibition room" was an excellent spot to set up a work from home office. J was accommodating and responsive to all of our questions. All in all a great experience.
