Nice spot near SMH
Perfect location to SMH, closer than the assigned parking depending on department. Landlord is quick to answer and very accommodating if you communicate - if you need a desk vs dining table etc. Apartment comes with all basic appliances and dishes (towels, bedding, cleaning sponge, paper towels, toilet paper). All windows have black out blinds and AC units. Washer dryer in basement and there's street parking where you can always find a spot - none of the street signs apply. Public safety of the hospital drives around the area, and located walking distance from college town with UofR gym and different food spots. Was a great place to stay when I was on assignment at SMH! Would stay there again.
Stay far away if youre a Travel Nurse
The landlord A did not return my full deposit, although I left the apartment clean. I left 5 day early due to a family emergency and he took $250 out of my deposit and a cleaning fee that was never discussed. He doesn't care about nurses. The hallways of the apartment complex always smells like Marijuana. There was no dresser for my clothes and I had to purchase one which he kept for the apartment. I also installed a clothes hanger cause there was no space to hang my jackets during cold Rochester. The apartment was very basic. The bed was awful, it rolled everywhere. Everything in the apartment was beyond cheap and unsafe. One of my guests fell on the ground because the bed rolls so much. The landlord still had the nerves to take $400 out of my deposit, although I improved it with items I purchased. If you're a travel nurse, stay far away from this place!
